Rushbrooke Rowing Club is a member of the Coastal Rowing Association. The Coastal Rowing Association (CRA) is the Representative Association for the Sport of Coastal Rowing in South East Cork. The CRA organises regattas, both Championships and fun days, throughout the summer months. Current member clubs are – Blackrock Rowing Club, East Ferry Rowing Club, Passage West Rowing Club, Rushbrooke Rowing Club and Whitegate Rowing Club.
RRC also competes in the Cork County Coastal Rowing Championships, where the top crews from both associations compete for the title of Cork County Champions. This event alternates between the two associations each year. in 2018, the Cork County Coastal Rowing Championships will be held by Passage West Rowing Club.
2018 will see Rushbrooke Rowing Club host the inaugural Irish Coastal Rowing Championships in the National Rowing centre in Farran Woods. We are extremely honoured to host the Championships.
